IT'S BAACK!

So yeah, exciting news--my laptop is back and better than ever!!! So, because my laptop was ANCIENT and they didn't make them anymore, they couldn't fix my hard-drive. They don't make 70gig hard-drives anymore. Soo...they gave me a 140gig hard-drive. For free. FFFFFF YEAH. They also increased my gigs of RAM from 1.5 to 3.5 (or 4?). So, it's not brand new. But it sure feels like it to me. Now, my processor is still the same. So it's not as fast as a new computer. But that's okay. My biggest problems with my laptop before I sent it in was the storage, it didn't have enough for SQUAT. I could barely hold my artwork over there without leaving only 5gigs left available. So my entire computer was...programs. It sucked. Which is why I wanted a new PC. But now, this will sustain me for a while. I will use it till it crashes and is unable to resurrect itself. I'm also thinking of possibly purchasing another warranty. Because this should last a while, but I'm still carting it around to school and banging it up like a bad college student does. :)

What else does this mean? DIGITAL ART IS BAAAAAAAACK. I'm majorly excited. So, to show you how excited I am, here's a sketch of my ONLY commission--for my aunt and uncle Stratton. Mainly for my uncle, but that's okay.

Also, I designed a t-shirt for my sister's boyfriend. He makes her cookies all the time. In fact, he asked her out by giving her a GIANT cookie with frosting saying "Go out with me?" It was a tasty sugar cookie. He really wanted to go to the cookie bake my family does annually. But my sister told him only "the women" do that, and he was REALLY bummed. He loves baking. I told my mom that was sexist, she got a good kick out of that. :D

And lastly, remember those designs I showed in my blog entry "Hand-Painted!"? Well, I am also going to use those designs as my Christmas cards! At first I was against this, because then it wouldn't be original to the people who get the bags. But my mom convinced me that the bags are the ORIGINALS, which is true. They are all hand painted, hand drawn, inked, etc. So, the bags have blood, sweat, and tears in them! Not literally. You get the point.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Christmas cards and hand-painted stuff!
